After doing about a million loads of laundry from our trips to the West Coast, I needed to replenish my laundry soap, so it was Under the Willow Laundry Soap to the rescue! This stuff is amazing and smells so great.

We had our Thanksgiving meal one day late since we went to my FIL's assisted living place to have a meal with him on the actual date. Dh cooked turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, kale and gravy. What more can a gal want? Tiramisu for dessert? Got it! Maybe in tomorrow's post. :)

Bluebirds have been coming to our birdbath regularly for drinks and...guess what? Baths! :) It's hard to see (don't know if the photo will enlarge if you click on it), but the bluebird is in the center of the photo.

It's ds#2's birthday today and he got to do science experiments! There are peat tablets for a composting experiment and seed-growing experiments. And a piece of paper they made from recycling a paper bag (lower right).

Guess what, sis? I found cider here! They call the alcoholic version "hard" cider...and don't have nearly the variety of funky flavors that Growers and Okenagan do...at least not in our town's liquor store.

I made 4 loaves of zucchini bread and a dozen zucchini muffins yesterday. I think we officially have a glut of zucchinis (or yellow summer squash). Dh says he can pick about 10 a day (I don't know if that's true or just hyperbole).

Trout on pasta with charmoula. Oh. My. Goodness. This was so incredible I could have eaten three platefuls of it! So many people go on and on about basil pesto, but charmoula (cilantro pesto) is a kabillion times tastier, IMO.

Yes, we have a banana...we have a banana today! Sung to the tune of you-know-what. We've had this banana plant for a while now...it's not the original, but the baby of our first banana plant. You can see a new baby on the left hand side at the bottom. Cute, but no fruit as yet.
